About Kwik Car Wash

Located at 34265 Mound Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310, Kwik Car Wash operates as a self-service car wash serving Sterling Heights in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Sterling Heights, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Michigan, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (586) 268-2210. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, kwik-car-wash.edan.io.

Its Google rating stands at 3.3 out of 5 from 83 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

None of the wash bays work, the cash machine will take your money but the system doesn’t turn on. The listed number on google is disconnected too. Avoid if you don’t want to throw money away

A couple years ago this place used to be my go-to. They have two taller sized bays that I like to use for my work vehicles due to the height with ladder racks. Heck, I even saw a guy pull out of here in a semi truck as I pulled in today. My main issue is the last four times that I have come, there is no soap for any selections. The meager amount of soap that comes out of the foam brush is hit or miss. Wasted $5.25 train different Bays to see if any of them had soap or worked for that matter. Vacuum Podium doors swinging in the Wind, dirty bays and nearly every thing on the property is in poor repair will keep me from returning ever again.

It takes a lot for me to post things like this, but this is worthy. Sign says $3.75 to use your card, but I was charged $10 to wash my car and there was no soap. My car was just as dirty after "washing" than it was before. You have no way of knowing before spending your money. This place needs to be audited. How do you get a refund? Pay for services that you do not get.

Used to be decent, good pricing. Lately it seems like the place has been going down hill quick. They don’t seem to be putting any money into the car wash anymore, equipment is breaking with no repairs. Empty chemicals and soaps on a regular basis, if you even get a working bay. Pretty disappointing, used to be a decent quick car wash. Maybe they’d rather you go up the road to their BP touchless wash. It’d be nice to see someone put some money into it. Go up the road to 17 and mound, there is a good wash there.

Not busy, very clean. Vacuum $0.75 about 1min. Car wash $1.75, but took two dollars and still asking for $0.25. Beware, they take ur money
